About Us
The Academy of the Americas is a Spanish Dual Language Immersion school serving Pre-K through grade 12 in Southwest Detroit. For more than 30 years, we have fostered academic excellence and cultural appreciation through our 90/10 and 50/50 bilingual models. Students grow in a nurturing environment that values both language and learning, with opportunities to explore art, music, robotics, and athletics.
